Survey Drawing Checklist

Each and every drawing is checked for the following;

* type of survey

* legend

* notes

* north arrow

* adjacent areas

* street names

* block-tie (we compare record & field)

* bearing base

* boundary from legal
  * Bearings, distances or angles (quadrants count)
  * Bold lines match description
  * Non-radial lines necessitate chord info.

* easements, (type, location, description, encroachments or clearances).

* net property line distances

* location sketch

* corners labelled on drawing

* building ties, fence ties, patio and garage ties

* show or note all improvements

* add through ties & buildings, compare to property line

* house square out

* calc and highlight everything on notes

* label drives (concrete, dirt, etc.)

* all fences 'x'ed or boxed and tied

* well and septic with sticker

* area on permits, vacant lots

* elevations - ngvd note, el. Arrow in legend, base & site benchmark, benchmark logged

* verify stated scale (all drawings) verify angles (m and l drawings)

* all abbreviations noted in legend

* drawing block
